Double Down
A Blackjack betting option permitting a player to receive one card, and only one card, to try and beat the dealer. Should the player\'s hand beats the dealer\'s, the player wins double his original bet.
Term used in blackjack meaning to double the original bet. The player then receives one additional card.
to increase a wager after the first two cards are drawn, in exchange for receiving only one more card, by placing an amount equal to the original bet on the layout. Also known as Double Up.
